Ski Descent  Sucess!

Skied down with Brian, Marc, Carl and Jordan after an ascent of Dead Dog. Fun route, 3000' of continuous snow, although it was a little thin up top this late in the season.

Fun Route  Sucess!

Skied this route from Torreys's summit, steep up top and fun, wide gullies down lower. All in all a worthwhile route.

nice climb  Sucess!

Enjoyed another new route on Torreys with Sarah. Nice, mellow climb with some options for a steep finish. This is a nice couloir for beginners as you can keep the slope angle below 45 degrees, although it is LONG!

Better than expected :)  Sucess!

Chose Emperor as my first snow climb of the season after being out of the game for a month with a broken toe. I expected it to be fairly mellow the whole way but we measured 52 degrees for a bit. Spectacular day.

Skiers = Assholes  Sucess!

Had 5 skiers came down and were very nice, then a set of 2 came down right on top of us blasting snow right in our faces, I threw a snowball (because I could not reach a rock) right at one of the sons of bitches. good climbing though

First time up Torrey's  Sucess!

A long snow climb, very continuous and great. We chose the option to top out where Dead Dog tops out at the Kelso Ridge. Great day, and perfect weather.

Spring Summit  Sucess!

Summited Emperor with an exit through one of the left hand gulleys(topped out right at Dead Dog). Snow was in decent shape for the climb, never too steep. Skied down NW face on windslab and crust until 12K. Got 1K of good spring corn in.
