End of the road

About a mile past the cabin, you will pass a 4WD road that goes off to the left (ignore it) and look for this setting. This is where you park as the road that goes beyond it is off limits to motorized vehicles. Walk the road for about 3/4ths of a mile and you'll come to a road that branches off left. Take that left branch, which is still a road but it will end after another half mile or so and turn into a footpath that leads into a canyon that narrows down. A good path will lead you most of the way through the narrow canyon until you hit the open slopes just before the ridgeline. Don't walk beyond the ridgeline, its a long ways down.
