Eph Hanks Tower

Seen from the picnic area at the entrance to Capitol Gorge. Climbing the peak looks (and is) technical from here, but a scrambling ascent can be made from nearby Pleasant Creek Road. On that route, expect Class 4 conditions and challenging route-finding as you look for the keys to the cliffs. Capitol Reef National Park, UT-- October 2009
