Erenspitze reflection

... from a small pond at Andelsboden. Two days ago I stood at the base of the south ridge, on the right in this picture, planning to traverse the Erenspitze. But I didn't like the mixture of grass and not particularly solid rocks that I found there, and so I only scrambled up a few meters before I decided to back off. 3 August 2012.

Thanks Silvia. It was a bit gloomy all day, with clouds hovering around 3000 m and hiding all the higher summits. This one is 'only' 2756m, so it's clear.

As I mentioned, two days before I didn't like the south ridge. Maybe when I go back one day I like it better and then I can do the traverse after all. But perhaps it would be safer not to do that alone...
