Fantastic Colors below the Aiguilles de Chamonix

Amazing fall colors below the Aiguilles de Chamonix on the Henry Vallot walk. This walk is between the Plan d'Aiguille cable car station and Montenvers train station. You can take the Aiguille du Midi cable car in the morning, all the way to the top if you wish to enjoy the morning light on the glaciers. After that, take the cable car down to the middle station, and walk to the Montenvers train which you can ride down with the same ticket.

This walk was a very pleasant and rewarding afternoon stroll, I just had to stop every 20 meters to take pictures. It's no use doing the walk earlier in the day, as the sun will be behind the mountains you see in the picture and you'll be walking in the shadow.

I'm in the process of adding more pics to the album actually (I sorted out a few more), but I'm now at the point where they will dissappear to the second page and out of view.
