though it does not reach the 3000m-mark, Fatlar Spitze (2986m) is one of the most prominent peaks of Ferwall Group. Here seen from ENE from Kieler Weg trail. Niederelbe hut can be seen at the bottom of the picture, Kieler Wetterhuette bivuoac hut is placed in the blue circle. (close-up, July 1990)
