Had a Fenn Day
This area had been on my wish list for several years. Boisedoc and I made the long drive north on a the spur of the moment decision based on bad weather forecast elsewhere. We were rewarded with great scenery in this beautiful area. Crux of the day was bushwhacking on the lower section of Fenn's southeast face. My 200th summit! Trip Report
superdave and I drove up from Boise (7 hours) and did this as a day hike which took about 11 hours. We did the recommended route from Big Fog mountain trailhead. Lots of steep terrain and vegetation to deal with. Beautiful area and good views out toward the Bitterroots.

Southeast aspect
Had a good scramble up the southeast side. Getting into the mountain took more effort than the actual ascent.
