Keep making the effort. I wish my wife could hike with me but she has problems with her feet and can't but you are an inspiration to all who find out about your accomplishments. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
One thing you have to learn about mountaineering is after one trip you must seek goals for the next trip. It is the only way to stay motivated. If the cards fall in your favor, there will be a number of other high elevation mountains that you will be able to do soon. Humphreys (Ariz), Bachelor (Ore), and Scott (Ore)are ones to shoot for in the near future. I will be with you in all of these conquest.
Wonderful accomplishment, parting the waters for the first time on a mountain---well done! Did you get the feel you were on a volcano or simply a huge mountain? Any insect problems? Now I must do Lassen, but it is so remote, we'll see. Your courage is amazing. Thanks for the story

Excellent!
Thanks for writing about your experience. It's so inspiring and my heart goes out to you for the pain you have been experiencing throughout your life.
Now you've accompished this you should definitely have a new perspective on your abilities because that is a big mountain. Thanks again for sharing and I wish you and your team best of luck on your next trip.
You have as much determination as those who climb Everest. And you found the best environment to shed old demons. Now you don't have to care what others say and think, because you can do such things, and they can't. Keep it up, as the body thrives and heals itself on happyness.
Your share about the welcoming crowd at the top of the mountains left me in tears... Yes, human love is overwhelming, when we really let it in! Focus on that, and let the negative opinions go by and don't "hook" to them... Surround yourself with the people who appreciate you and what you are doing! And, I'm sure you know it well already - you are extremely lucky to have the love and support of your man, the unconditional and unwavering stand for YOU... and your greatness! Don't take it lightly :) I hope to meet you some day - maybe at the top of a mountain.
and moving, brought a swelling my heart. Bravo! May you continue to be blessed in your movements through the high places of this earth within and outside of your being.
Thanks for writing your story, it's really compelling! Keep it up through the winter up there...that old car will get you to Mount Si at least! :) You guys rock.
