Fine Jade

Looking back at the so-called 5.7 hand traverse on the final pitch of Fine Jade. Shirley is at the comfortable belay. Unless I did something wrong, the 5.7 rating on this pitch is total bullshit! No feet, no edge for hands and progressively wider (and mostly sh..-filled) horizontal crack for jamming. 5.7 WTF?? April 30, 2006.
