Were going to climb this March 14 and 15th - hoping to do this and Hydrophobia, but after we do one, we'll see how we feel.

Great plan, I did both within a few days of each other earlier this season, but back to back is ambitious. Do the Sorcerer first, it's a much easier day, both for approach and climbing. And apparently you can drive in from Waiparous to do Hydro, saving the long walk. I've got some extra info on my website if you're interested. Now I'm dreaming of linking them up in one day :)

Thx - ya, it's quite the sight. Even more so because you're in thick forest, so you don't see any of it, until suddenly you hit a clearing - and wow. Recommend it, it's probably in my top 3 ice climbs list...

Thanks Maurice, did this one again this Xmas (as an attempt to link it w/ Hydro in the same day).. the cornice at the top was huge and was the crux!! I got some video footage, just have to find some time to edit it..
