First Good Look

This is the first real good look I got at the peak. At this point I ws thinking "What have I got myself into?" The mountain is steep but the Trail is well maintained and easy to navigate.

Badger encounter

It wasn't far from the spot as you are coming up the trail that I had an encounter with a very large badger. Fortunately it moved off the trail and let me pass but I'd never seen one in the wild before. Nice picture Mike.
