Fiordland is wet. Very wet. That's why this photo shows the typical view of Doubtful Sound. Not that it's always like this, oh no, there can be sunshine too, but with average annual rainfall figures around 6000-8000 mm, you have to be prepared for a few showers or worse. We got all of that - showers, worse and sunshine - later that day.
