| A long approach and being situated in Two Medicine makes this one a rare gem at Glacier with almost no one else on top. Dawson Pass will see traffic though. Goats and humans. Met a herd of goats and a pair of scouts on the goat trail. Also grabbed Morgan and Helen on the same day. Skipped Rising Wolf, which fits somewhere between one of the great shames of my life and a mild disappointment. I mean the views I got were magnificent, but I do regret not adding Rising Wolf. I got back to my tent doing 20+ miles and 3 peaks by 7 pm so I guess I had time, but maybe not the legs. Don't miss it. | |

| A nice long day alone in the park. Flinsch was a logical detour after reaching Dawson pass. I especially liked the view down to young man and boy lakes to the northeast. | |

| short detour to the summit while hiking from Pitamaken Pass to Dawson Pass. summit was socked in, so views were sparse. fun run up though! super, super easy; no techical climbing whatsoever. ascended/descended to and from Dawson Pass in about 45 minutes. | |

| Planned on doing the Pitamakin-Dawson Loop as a one night backpack staying at Oldman Lake. Got to Dawson pass with time to spare so decided to climb up Flinsch. Nice climb, not really technical at all. Maybe 40 minutes up from Dawson pass and 20 minutes back down. Great views from the top. | |
