Forest Blonde

The White Poplar (Populus alba) growing near Black Creek below Mount Zamczysko. The Low Beskid- August 26, 2007. It is a fast growing deciduous tree with greenish-white bark and leaves that are on young trees white underneath and green on the upper side. Its young twigs and shoots are also white.
