Forest

This photo was taken just above the saddle at 11,550' where the route leaves the old road grade and starts the long climb off-trail to the summit. This pictures shows that the forest is easy to pass through without a lot of difficult bushwacking. FYI - some section are definitely much steeper than this photo shows.
