We did this loop as part of a diversion from the Swift Creek/Bear Creek loop. We did not realize the extent of the elevation change in climbing down from Seven Up peak to the valley, doing the loop, and climbing back up, however it was still well worth it. We watched the sunset from diamond lake and then got to see the almost full moon's shadow rise on the face of Siligo as we hiked back up to seven up. Beautiful day, but should allow for at least 6 hours to complete the loop, as there is a lot of climbing.
