Could you perhaps add info to route description which calls out length of route in miles or more importantly total elevation gain for the hike?

Mountain is 10,800' and my understanding on the difficulty of this hike would change a bunch if the hike started at 8000' with only 2800' of gain versus say 4800' and 6000' of gain.

I added the info you suggested. That is a good idea. I think I will add elevation gain and mileage to other routes I have written. There is also a topo map depicting the route on the route page.

Freel Peak is the highpoint of El Dorado county and is on my tick list.

Thanks Dean! I had a lot of fun when I climbed this: I hope you do, too. BTW: I just bought the "County Highpoints" book. One more list of climbs to do!
