Wowerz. This peak offers a lot of bang for the buck. Incredible cirque, loves the chew to St Kevin’s Lake... we had the entire mountain to ourselves. Warning: get to the trailhead early.

Started up the south slopes of Galena and then wrapped around the ridge all the way to Divide BM and bushwhacked back down to the Timberline Lake trail and back to the car. Would like to come back up Galena from one of the couloirs above St Kevin lake sometime.

Galena Mountain
This mountain proved to be very beautiful. It had rained the day before but the weather on the day that I climbed it was perfect.
