Thanks! It really is a beautiful area and well worth the time and planning to get there. Even if Gannett isn't your goal, there are a lot of possibilities in the area (Fremont comes to mind as a non-technical alternative) and the Titcomb Basin alone is worth the trip.
Thanks! While I didn't mention them, they were certainly thick and I was getting bites all the way up to the top of Bonney Pass. I bought a head net just for the trip and I'm very glad that I did.
