Gannett Peak
Finding shelter over 12,000 feet on Bonney's Pass with Gannet Peak in the background. The first night was pleasant with light rain falling until around 7 a.m. We had our alarms set for 4 a.m. but stayed in the tent due to the rain. We heard a few parties pass by in the dark and as the clouds started to break, we geared up and headed out. (photo by Peter Frischmann)
