Garfield Lupine (Lupinus garfieldensis)

This species was recently called Lupinus sericeus variety asotinensis. It only grows in Asotin and Whitman counties of Washington. It prairie habitat has been lost to agricultural and development, but it still persists in some prairie remnants too rocky to plow and road sides. Photo from near Anatone, Washington.
