Geech Camp

Geech camp in the Simien mountains of Ethiopia has some of the best range's best scenery in close proximity. The camp can be reached in 2 days from the small town of Debark where the park HQ is located. I took this photo in late October 2002 which is immediately after the rainy season. The man in the background with the gun was our scout.
