Gerlachovský štit summit view, spanning from west to northwest

The highest peak in this panorama, dead center, somewhat obscured by clouds, is the rugged Vysoká (2547m), easily recognizable by its twin summits. The much gentler looking peak immediately to its right is Rysy (2503m). In fact, Rysy has two summits as well; but the saddle between them and the slightly lower one (2499m), located on the Polish-Slovakian border, are behind the main summit. 25 Aug 2016.
