Beautiful

Great shot Signorelli! But what is strange is how little snow there is in the high western Alps! Plateau Rosa 70cm, Punta Indren 15cm... That is really miserable! If it doesn't change till the end of winter glaciers will take some beating next summer! On the other hand here on Velebit, on only 1600m, we have over 2m of snow tonight and it won’t stop!

The situation right now is admittedly ridicolous, but in the last few years, the big snow on the NW Alps has always arrived late in the winter. Let's hope however that this years something will come in January, otherwise (as you say) the glaciers will get yet another beating...
