Re: I like the sock mark on the left foot.

Yeah, normally I wear thigh high socks when climbing (naturally supported with a garter belt) but I was in a rush that morning & went with the low fashion- & low sexy index- option.

Yikes

I blew out my ankle trail running in June, and for the first time in my life, I actually followed a sensible recovery plan instead of just taping it up and OD'ing on painkillers. I stayed off of it completely for four weeks, and then started running short distances again. It recovered completely in less than two months, compared to the past when I'd try to run a week later after the sprain and the injury would linger for up to eight months.

So, those Doctors are actually correct---Stay off of it!

"So, those Doctors are actually correct---Stay off of it"
sometimes & partially :)

...I basically did stuff that didn't hurt (too much). So initially (like a week or two) did very little, then more. Never used the crutches they gave me but just sort of walked on it gently. It's been like 2 or 3 years now & I have fully range of motion & no pain...but there's definitely swelling that remains. I am now a 9!!
