Re: Wow!!Thanks Jeff. Glad you like the shot. Long exposure shots of flowing water are almost a photographic cliche these days, but it had been a long time since I did one, and I had fun playing around that afternoon.
For one thing I usually shoot upstream instead of downstream, so that made this different. The light was changing a lot so I worked with that - this diffused shadow turned out to be my favorite. I was hoping to catch a glint of sun on the foreground water, but that didn't happen. I also experimented with isolating rocks or vegetation with the water as a backdrop. Always good to look at things with fresh eyes.
BTW, this is the stream we walked past on the way up to the Loch on the fateful Flour Power outing.

Yeah, my leg is doing OK. We even took bachata lessons last month!
I leave on Saturday for 5 days of backpacking in the Wind Rivers. Then I'll find out what a wimp I've become...
