Glacier of Rutor as seen from testa di Liconi

Rutor Glacier at dawn-time as seen from Testa di Liconi. It was an awesome view with the reddish sky in the background before the sun came. Photo taken mid-October 2006. P.S. I have heared in winters sometimes some skid-landing-gear-equipped private aircraft make landings there... is it right or just a rumor? if you know something more or other "unofficial icy runways" on the glaciers in the Italian Alps, please let me know!
