Re: hmmmm...It was around a quarter mile from the seracs. If a large chunk broke off there may have been a possibility of reaching us. We tried to keep our stay brief. Took a few pics and headed out after 5-10 minutes.

Gorgeous picture!Those curious figures between the glacier undulations and fissures almost look like dolomite clumps heaved up from the crevasses.
