Going up the little snow patch

We saw the excellent steps kicked in here. Can't see em? Notice how most of his boot is hidden from view and that it is really firm snow. Edit: I originally titled this "Going up the big snow patch" but when I reviewed it I could see the blue sling to Brandon's left which was left by previous parties. So this is the little snow patch.
