Golden Larch dominion

Golden Larch dominion

The concentration of larch trees that turn golden in October is awesome in the Enchantment area. With Prusik Peak in the background, hikers walk along the shoreline of Rune Lake on October 13, 2007. Photo taken by Tom Davenport and used with his permission.

Super!

I was just browing through my Siberian shots of winter larches the other day - it is a so sweet homesick feeling looking at this shot!

Re: Super!

I love the golden larches and I can understand the homesick feeling. However, be homesick no more, head to Washington state (particularly the Enchantment area) in October and you will be rewarded with scenes like this. You should post an album of your siberian larch pics, it'd be
a treat to all of us fellow larch lovers.

Did you see this pic I posted earlier?

Re: Did you see this pic?

Nope, thanks for the pointer. I've seen a few from tazz (I think) and it was an equal longing kind of feeling.

I didn't get to the prettiest of my Siberian shots yet. Got this one so far, but others should be better :)
