Goldenrod

Goldenrod (Solidago virgaurea) belongs to the family Asteraceae. This perennial can be found in all of Europe's mountain ranges. In the Bieszczady Mountains it is very common. It blooms from July to September. The infusion made from flowering Goldenrod has medicinal properties and can be used to clean the kidneys, reduce inflammation and prevent infection.
