Tryfan sounds to me like a place full of fun but fraught with agro.
I only say this as the first time I clambered up the north ridge (I fit into the hiker catorgory rather than climber) I slipped and cracked a rib. My trip report is already there to be seen.
I write this with envy as I must admit, much as I love hill walking and scrambling I really do need to get myself out on the rock.
Thanks Chris. If you get chance to look at a N Wales scrambling guide book just look at all the scrambles from the Heather Terrace on Tryfan. Loads of em!
