Gran Acarreo
The Gran Acarreo on Aconcagua, at 21,500', traverses the northwest side of the mountain on the way to the summit. The final slope leading up to the summit, the Canaleta, begins near the snow bank on the right side of the photo. Photo taken December 15, 2005.
