You made a great report and well populated with pics. Did you get a backcountry permit for your camping sites? Your party seems to be three or is it four? I know the fourth person is taking the pictures! It would be interesting to know if the Park Rangers took some action on the party that left the young scout by himself. I consider it a dangerous act to even take him up there without proper clothing. I would have given the leader a ticket. Thanks for bringing him down. I leave tomorrow 9/1 for the Tetons and your story has made me look forward to it even more. thanks
I thoroughly enjoyed your report and pictures. We made an attempt on the Grand last summer, but were unable to summit due to poor weather. Your description of the trip got me excited to give it another shot this year!
