Spent the night below the summit, great place for a quick overnight. The road kind of sucked, it was quite doable in my Subaru but a bit stressful and not much fun. I parked after a particularly rocky stretch about 1/3-mile before the trailhead, but of course it was fine from there. Trail was in good shape, some dirt bike tracks. Decent flowers, notable but not outrageous mosquitoes, and the spring below the summit had great flow with a handy pipe. Loved the shiny rocks!

Didn't see a thing!
I hiked this peak a long time ago in early June; we were soaked in clouds, it was snowing, windy and cold. Hiked this from Freezeout Saddle together with Grandfather Mountain but there does not seem to be a page for it here.

Mountain of Glitter
This trail was very nice and the presence of glittery rock along the entire trail made for a great journey. This trail could probably be biked I kept thinking to myself.

Rough road approachThe road was a bit rough, not fantastic views but a nice hike. Also bagged grandfather and Mark's Butte while I was there.
