Lots of bouldering opportunities in the Grapevine Hills of Big Bend National Park, TX. A short, good trail also runs out to Balanced Rock, which is an impressive formation. This image, taken in July 2005, shows my son, Curtis, and the view from just below Balanced Rock back towards the trailhead/parking lot.
