| With Megan, 13. What a difference a few feet make... If this were a 14-er, it would be overrun. Because it isn't (quite), it's gloriously unfrequented. Up directly above the mine to maximize our time spent on the ridge... Toured round to Garfield and then back down in to McNasser Gulch (a particularly lovely basin, imo). | |

| From the 2wd, ascended the East Ridge (long before the route on Matt's photo. It sounds like he had a horrible experience. It wasn't so bad for us - just steep.) Stayed on the ridge more, which gave us a bit of nice scrambling (above 2+). Traversed to Garfield and back down to the NE. Nicer weather than expected. Solid group of climbers (Nancy, Taylor, Jason, and me). | |

| Climbed East Ridge before heading over to Garfield. Nice day, plenty of deer. No one else around. Nice views of the Elks. | |

| Nice hike, a bit loose going up to the ridge. Once on the ridge it was easy going. We traversed towards Ouray, however ended up needing to bail which made for a shaky descent. | |

| Climbed with shanahan96, jamie nellis and stevets689. Ascended Grizzly Couloir, traversed to Garfield, then descended the SW slopes, but probably should have backtracked closer to Grizzly before dropping because we saw a much nicer route on our way back out the road. | |
