When was this take?What time of year was this photo taken? Does one need crampons in July? Or is it stone all the way to the top? Danke!

Re: When was this taken?Thanks, I don't know the Alps very well as I live in Oregon and have only visited them in the Winter when everything was covered in snow... How do you transport your ice axe? Does it fit in your carry-on (just kidding) or do you have a large suitcase? NM
