Guadalupe Mountains

While driving east along Highway 62/180 towards Guadalupe Mountains National Park in Texas, the mountains started to come into view near a place called Salt Flat. Before that time, a storm system clouded over the mountains, hiding them from long-distance view that day. The thunderclouds seen in this photo lingered for some time over the mountain range, causing me to postpone my hiking plans for the mountains until the following day.
