I'm glad you'll be able to use the route info. I'd also get a full tank in Big Spring. Gas is higher in Andrews and really high in Carlsbad.
I don't know what the temps were but the forecast was for the 80s. I think that was about right. High 70s-low 80s. It was pretty cool in the shade and the breeze was really cool. The breeze was actually kind of cold in the morning and up top of the peak.
