Gully on the backside of the Y couloir (south side of northwest ridge) Pic 1

After reaching the northwest ridge from Pine Creek Lake, you will follow the ridgeline easily until you reach the Y couloir and a large mass of rock will block your path. We dropped down a gully on the opposite side of the Y coulior, which is the south side of the northwest ridge. This is the part of the gully down-climbed to avoid the large mass of rock and reach the gully used to reattain the northwest ridgeline (Pic2) to the final few hundred feet to the summit. As viewed on the return. 7/14/12
