| I had only limited time, so ran into the Supai village and down to the falls in a day. I did pay for the permit in the village, and waiting in the line took almost 3/4 hr. The falls are amazing, but it was crowded, both the Havasu and Mooney Falls below as well as the campground. | ||

| I've been to the town and falls of Havasupai twice. There is a reason that camping permits vanish months before they open season. Take yourself and a loaded backpack along the 10 mile canyon walk and enjoy. Then when you reach the cold turquoise falls, relax. Make sure you have more than one day down there. Also, there is a great hike that extends further down the canyon to where the blue waters meet the brown of the Colorado. A few years ago, a flood reshaped some of the falls and the people of Supai have been reconstructing the land since. | ||

| It was my high school's thirty-somewhat years tradition to take a group of graduating class on a 5-day backpacking trip, led by a few faculty members. This was my very first backpacking trip and it was awesome! I'm hoping to go back next May. I wonder if my alma mater still takes a trip down there... | ||

| Have been in and out six times in twenty years. Each time the place is more trashed, more crowded, and less friendly. Yet I still keep going back. Guess that says something about the scenery. | ||

| Done this trip many times as a guide - can't wait to get some friends out for a personal trip! Hiking the canyon all the way to the Colorado River is highly recommended. | ||

| hiked down to havasu and mooney twice- not enough! this place is magical. the first time i coptered out- was cool to see things from that vantage point but really, made better time hiking out the second time. the wait on the helicopter is nuts. and really, enjoyed hiking more than riding. camped between the falls both trips. | ||

| Had to have been the first hikers climbing into the canyon that day. Knowing we only had one night at the falls, we left the trailhead at 4:00am so we could spend the whole day exploring the falls. We did get to spend a long periods of time at Havasu, Mooney and a few rope swings we found further down stream, but even then felt like we didn't have the time to see it all. This place is amazing. I'll be back again next May, and will plan on staying at least 3 nights. | ||

| What a surreal place. Back packed in, then decided it was really smart to pay the $20 to helicopter our stuff out on the way up. best $20 I have ever spent! Stayed 2 beautiful nights, wish it could have been more. A must to stay at least 2 nights. | ||

| I spent 5 days camping in Havasu Canyon & enjoyed being there. One thing that really bothered me was the sanitation conditions. I am not normally bothered at all by outhouses or porta potties, but while I was there things were bad. The composting toilets are not maintained at all and the porta potties are not switched out often enough given the number of people using them. I am surprised there are were not major health ramifications. | ||
