It was my third time hiking the High Peaks trail in Pinnacles, but the first time I found the climber's trail up the summit block of Hawkins Peak ("Tuff Dome"). I scrambled up a flake / ledge thing as far as I could go, and then turned back.

Date is approx. Did not summit, as we didn't have climbing gear, but hiked around the summit area, along the base of Tuff Dome. Great area.
