oh, and by the way, since you like routes, why is it that people gave zero votes to my picture of the trailhead? Is that really a worthless photo? I hope they go there someday, get lost, and get eaten by a bear.

Hope she finds work. I used to know someone who worked for the Forest Service in Gastonia, but they moved away--got promoted or something. That's another route she could take. Lots of decent jobs out that can get you into the forests and parks if you look.
