Heading down again

The three of us had come up to Huascarán high camp three days ago. We had planned to climb Sur the next morning, but one of my friends was sick, and his buddy stayed with him while I explored on my own - and with almost perfect weather, I was fortunate to make it all the way to the summit. After that, we stayed in high camp for a few more days. However, he didn't recover fast enough, the winds picked up and we were running low on food, so we had no alternative but to go down. 10 August 2011.
