Hm

Are you sure this isn't Crawford Path where it bypasses Monroe? The summit trail up Monroe is a lot steeper and I don't think you ever get a view toward Franklin and Eisenhower like the one shown here.

Thanks, you're absolutely right! I knew that this was on Crawford path, but had misplaced my map at the time of posting. I believe you're right that we had already passed the trail for Monroe.
