Heading to the Schneewinkel, with the Romariswandkopf summit in the clouds ahead

We were hoping the weather would improve, or at least not get any worse, because we wanted to go over the Romariswandkopf to the Stüdlhütte. If the weather wouldn't be good enough for that, our only alternative would be to walk all the way down to Franz Josefshöhe, drive a few hours around the mountains to the Lucknerhaus and walk up some three hours more to the Stüdlhütte. Less interesting and very time consuming. At this point I wasn't totally sure if our planned route would be possible ... 31 August 2011.
