Heading up the first pitch...
Heading up the first pitch from Pineapple Pass as summer afternoon clouds swirl above. This is an easy, "low-fives" climb as evidenced by the fact that I'm wearing my Raichle "Frankenstein" Eiger boots. Some of the more challenging routes on this peak would require climbing shoes, but beginners can feel confident doing the SE face in boots.
