Hell's Backbone Bridge

Hell's Backbone Bridge

It's hard to get a photo of this bridge, but trust me, it's spectacular! The Hell's Backbone Bridge crosses the narrow neck/head of two deep canyons in the Dixie National Forest. It is at an elevation of 9,000 and was built by the CCC in the 1930's. It is not one for those afraid of heights! It is very much worth the drive to see, especially in the fall when the aspen are turning gold. A view from afar of the Hell's Backbone Bridge View from the Bridge
