Hell Storm

We were climbing near the top of Storm King when I turned around and saw a wall of water coming at us. I yelled up to Greg that we better make a hasty retreat. After the trip we learned that this storm washed out both Highway 20 and the Cascade River road after it passed over us, leaving many climbers stranded. We experienced intense rain and hail on our way back to camp and Greg fell into a moat and cut his hand badly. The lighter colored spot is a rain drop on my lens. August 11, 2013.
